Rebates
Kids Speech Co. is recognised by all major private health funds and is an approved provider for Medicare and NDIS. No referral from a doctor is needed to see our therapists, but you may be able to receive rebates from the following:
Private Health Funds
Rebates for Speech Pathology Services may be available through your private health fund. Please contact your health fund provider to see what rebates you are covered for.
Medicare
Children may be eligible for rebates under the Medicare Items for Complex and Chronic Conditions (CDM). A chronic condition is one that has been (or is likely to be) present for six months or longer. Clients have complex care needs if they need ongoing care from a multidisciplinary team consisting of their GP and at least two other health care providers. Further information may be obtained from your GP.
NDIS
The NDIS is an Australia wide funding scheme for people with a disability. Kids Speech Co. provides services to NDIS clients who have Self Managed or Plan Managed Funding. Further information regarding the NDIS can be found at ndis.gov.au
